Re-running 2 simple pipe networks as SSA & Storm Sewer Tutorial - 2014
I created the 2 pipe network & catchments
I selected open in SSA
First thing - I opened the entire CAD file behind the junctions & pipes. I DO NOT WANT THE ENTIRE CAD FILE BEHIND THE SSA PIPE NETWORK.
I tried to adjust the rain fall. - I have never used a 3 year storm in over 30 years of design. I only needed 2 of the long list of storm. I tried to to clear out the extra storms. It cleared out ALL of them and would not let me add the 2 new storms from scratch.
I opened up the default & over wrote ALL the storms. I ran the analysis. No way to tell what is going on during the analysis. (I miss the Storm Sewer interactive function.) I asked for the report - It generated a multi sheet pdf with small font. I just wanted to check the headwater on the two pipes to determine if it was correctly modeling it.
I gave up and decided to go back to Storm Sewer.
Any chance Autodesk made any attempts to upgrade any of this in 2016 or 2017?
