Trouble producing Platform on Split level

I am facing a challenge of producing Split levels at different elevation of a building constructed on an uphill. 

I want producing a Standardized Civil Engineering Plan View Section on a Platform with Civil 3D, The challenge i am facing is flattening each  level of the platform  to the same elevation whilst from the outside boundary clearly shows changes in ground elevation. Below is how i have gone so far about it and attached aside is the ideal representation similarly to what i  must reproduce in Civil 3D, what necessary steps must i take to create the platform/split levels with different elevation.

 

In my approach i created a surface from a CSV file, inserted the residential boundary perimeter where the structure will be built. i created feature lines representing each split level of the platform level 52, 53.5 and 54.5  from low ground to high ground respectively. I looked forward to produce a plan view of the platform which is my first objective and also to calculate works earth volumes of cut and fills for each platform. I am using AutoCAD 2018

@tonderaitmaworera Hi Tonderai! If I'm following correctly, you'll want to set your platforms as feature lines at the elevations required, Create Infills to create your surface within the boundaries of your feature lines, and use Grading Objects on the outside to daylight to surface at an almost vertical slope. I say almost, because Civil 3D tends to get confused if there's a straight up/down vertical surface, so you'll need to set the slope to something like 10,000% so there's a slight offset that Civil 3D will recognize.

Hie Stephen, Something looks off on my platform especially when it comes to grading(Infill), the challenge comes on where there is a change in elevation between the platforms.What is the best way of tackling this problem.

Here's an updated version...I cleaned up a bunch of the Sites, Grading Groups and Surfaces just so I could start fresh. I established your "platforms" with a slight offset in between each level so that an infill could be created to fill in the vertical face of the surface. Not sure what the daylighting requirements are, but I just created it using a 2:1 from each. 1 thing you could also do is create a new Feature Line within a Daylighting Site that is essentially just an outer boundary of the building platforms/TOC, from which you can create an infill within and then daylight outside for a very simplified approach.

Hie thanks for the solution,i have been trying to redo it myself however there is need of more clarity in the use of daylights, then on grading do you choose the entire length ?

@tonderaitmaworera If the plan is to apply varying slopes for daylighting, then no, you wouldn't want to apply the grading object to the entire length. If you type N and hit enter when prompted to apply length, you will then be prompted to define a start and end point for which you want to apply the grading object/scenario. You can then leverage the Grading Transition tool to smooth out the transition between slopes. This is what i have done so far i have offset the building from the
boundary edges.
