Swath Width Problem

I have an alignment in one of my drawings and I started working with one side of the alignment. Therefore I only created sample lines with a swath width to the left, and I left the right side zero. Now that I have started working with the right side of the alignment I tried to edit the swath width of my sample lines. Apparently I can not edit the zero length, however I have tried to edit the positive number side and was successful.

Anyone have this problem, and come up with a simple solution?

How are you trying to edit the width? Grips?

Try editing the swatch from the Sample Line Editor toolbar (Create Sample
Lines).

Mr. Kolberg

When I created the sample lines I gave them a swath width of 175' left and 0' right. It seems that I can edit the left side using grips one at a time, sample line properties one at a time, I can even edit them all at the same time, using group properties. Apparently because I used a 0 swath width for the right side I have none of these options available.

Next time I will use a small swath width that way I will be able to edit in the future. Although I would like to know if there is a fix to this now because the drawing i am working with has multiple surfaces, sample line groups, materials, and Section Views laid over each other. There is no easy way to just create new sample lines.

The file Is to large to attach.

Right, the grips don't work and I don't know how to make them work. Is the
"Change swath width for group" not working?

Mr Kolberg

Change swath width does not work for group or singularly, I used the sample line editor and reset the parameters for the group. A dialog box with a few options came up. I chose to append and overwrite. This worked to create new sample lines with the proper swath widths but I lost my Section Views for the sample line group.

The problem is I did a lot of work setting up the views to plot and it will take a long time to redo all of the work. I know better for next time.
