Surface elevations are not correct

I have contours in my drawing with elevations assigned. I create the surface using the existing contours and the resulting elevations are not correct. The elevations should be in the 540' range but are only around 45'. I have not had this problem before. It looks like the elevations are off almost exactly 500'.

Hmmm, check the surface edits for an entry that raises (or lowers) the surface that's built from the contours.

Sounds to like a feet vs inch issue: 540/45=12
