Storm and Sanitary Analysis cannot open spf file

Hello to everyone,

I am a user of Autodesk SSA, working in drainage network design and modeling. I have been using the software for a couple of years without any probelm. Suddenly, a problem occured: when I open an spf file, save it (utilizing the "save as" or "save" option) and then reopen it I get the error message "List index out of bounds (-1)".

The problem has not been resolved by reinstalling or repairing the SSA installation.

My PC set up is the following:

Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU
AMD Ryzen 7
Summit Ridge 14nm Technology
RAM
32.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1197MHz (16-16-16-39)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. PRIME X470-PRO (AM4) 41 °C
Graphics
W2361 (1920x1080@60Hz)
SyncMaster (1680x1050@60Hz)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (ASUStek Computer Inc) 42 °C
Storage
465GB Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500GB (Unknown (SSD))

In case a user or anyone from the Autodesk support team has a solution, it would be vital for continuing my work.

Thank you in advance,

Panos

There are several .spf files installed with your installation, can you open them?

Storm and Sanitary Analysis is installed separately, perhaps go to Control Panel and try Repairing it.

Bill

Sorry, I went back and checked, you apparently tried the repair route.

I am a new user of SSA, and have several questions that do not appear to be answered in the User's Manual. How do I get support for this program?

1. The way people are recommending to convert each storm drain outfall to a junction for it to be connected to the basin it relates to does not allow the profile plot to hold the pond depth as a boundary condition. The HGL is being held down to normal flow condition and this is going to be a red flag to any plan reviewer that we have to submit this documentation to.

2. The model I have put together has 3 hydrodynamically linked ponds that all have their own stage/storage parameters. The program only appears to be accepting on curve input for all three. What am I missing?

Thank you,

Debbie
