Anyone else try to install the standardized Data Tool and not getting it run the commands?

The Autoloader command isn't showing any errors and using netload to load the "AeccSDTCivil3DUI.dll" doesn't appear to fix anything.

@Christopher.Fugitt, thanks again for your time today in helping to resolve this issue you uncovered with SDT. As we found, it looks like the issue has to do with remnants of previous AutoCAD versions remaining in the HKEY_Current_User section of the registry. To resolve the issue, we were able to remove the registry entry folder of R24.1 (or for other users that experience the issue the RXX.X folder) for an uninstalled version of AutoCAD from the registry folder below. After removing the uninstalled version's directory here, we were able to get the app to run as expected.

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD

Hi Stevenh0616,

I am getting same issue regarding SDT. I have a number of versions starting from 2020 to 2024 of AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Do I have to delete these (equivalent) (see attached) from all the application versions.

If they aren’t installed on the computer, then yes I would remove them. For some reason they didn’t get cleaned up during uninstall.

Hi Steve,

I've just installed a new version of SDT for Civil 3D 2026 (which returned to C3D Extensions just on 18/05/2026) and I have the same old issue described on this thread. Product install's successfully without any errors, all the SDT buttons are added to the ribbon but not of them works. Them just causing

I also have working version of Civil 3D 2027 on my machine. None of older versions never were even installed on this PC. So I would highly appreciate your help on this issue. Long time I waited for the updated SDT version and, unfortunatelly, it didn't work for me. It's really dissapointing because it's an exeptionally helpfull tool.
