Spot eleveation text rotation / alignment

Does anyone have a step by step guide on how to rotate / align spot elevation text?

I’ve tried to rotate it, but I can’t seem to get the text flipped to be the same as my road chainge - see attached image

Thanks

Scott

0. In the label settings you can set a default angle, by view, by object.

1. Grab the label but do grip it
2. Hover over the blue box
3 select rotate labe , marker or both.
4. Tip: list the rotation angle put on clipboard , select similar your labels>>properties >> paste the angle

I've tried the method you suggested but I still can't get it to work. Once I rotate the label text past a certain angle the text automatically flips - which I don't want it to do.

any ideas on how override this? Or have I missed something?

many thanks

Go to the label style and look for plan readability, turn it off

I'm not so sure I'd turn it off. Id definitely change the angle that it's at. I believe it defaults at like 110 and I set mine around 92 just my take one it. It s really whatever works best for you. I set mine and generally never have any issues.

Yours doesn't do this?

I've got it Joe - I switched off plan readability and the labels rotated without the text flipping.

many thanks
