Scalebar different with PUBLISH/PLOT command

Hi, Im having issues with the integrated scalebar "scalebar1_metric" when using PUBLISH command.

When creating PDF using PUBLISH, the scalebars in paper space randomly changes size/position on some layouts.

This is seemingly random, when creating the same PDF using the same settings, on same device in same session with PUBLISH again, it may affect different layouts in different sizes. When creating single PDF using PLOT command, this doesnt happen, everythings fine. However, I need to use PUBLISH since there are many layouts.

Any idea what could cause this? Wheres the difference between PUBLISH/PLOT regarding the scalebar block?

AutoCAD Civil 3D 2024

Drawing Units are meters, Drawing scale 1:1000

Block Units (scalebar1_metric) are centimeter, scale varies with layouts

Scalebar is associated to respective View Port, which is created using polyline

PUBLISH/PLOT use same PDF preset and Page setup

Any helps much appreciated 😃

Sorry I'm not sure then. My only question is, shouldn't the scale bar units be the same as the drawing units?

I thought so but I think its unit system which should match. Drawing units can only be set to meters/foot (mertric/imperial) and the integrated scalebars are centimeter default.

However, for testing I changed the block units of the scalebar to meter as well but its the same result 😞

Did you try disabling background publishing to see if that makes a difference?
