How come when I reverse the direction of an alignment instead of starting from 0 it starts from -0+14 and ends at 0? Help

How did you reverse the alignment.

1. Use Reverse Alignment option in Civil 3D.

2. By changing the reference point of Alignment

If you use method 1 it will come as reversed stations. 0+000 to 0+014

But if you use method 2 you will get it as -0+014 to 0+000

So this is a curb return alignment. I tried reversing the alignment and then I used station offset label to confirm the process, but it does not do anything.
