Removing Vertices in 2D Polylines

C3D 2018

It seems in the past versions when I pick a pline and grip a vertex and right click I would get an option box to remove vertex and could repeat with multiple grips.  Now it only allows me to remove one vertex and the option box doesn't appear for the next vertex.  I have to esc, pick the pline again and remove-esc, pick, remove-esc, pick, remove continuing forever.  Is there a setting to fix that?

You are right that is very clunky.

Instead when you select the polyline, go to the Modify ribbon and select Delete PI, this will allow you to continuously select vertices to delete (likewise you can Insert PI to add vertices onto the polyline).

Nice.  Didn't realize some of those functions applied to plines.  Use them all the time with feature lines.  thanks KMercier.

You can also hover your mouse over the vertex, or midpoint, and a menu will pop up for editing that point. You can either choose a selection from the menu or press a letter corresponding to a selection.  (example: R = remove, C = curve, A = add)  If it stops responding just escape and re-select the line.  (its a timing thing, if you make a selection before the menu appears it gets lost)

ah.  before I responded I had tried to install it.  It seemed to hang up in the middle of the install so I cancelled thinking I needed Map.  Will try again.

Well, slacker here just installed the Map hotfix and it did seem to stall but did continue and complete the install.  It worked.  Now my menus appear when hovering over vertex until I cancel the command.  Thanks.
