How to offset profile

I have an alignment and associated profile. Now I have to offset the profile. Instead of creating an offset profile again, how could I modify the current profile and let it to be offset 10' from the current one? I have looked into the property of profile, the offset column could not be edited. Thx for your help.

I dont think there is a way to do it, other than to create a new offset profile.

Do you use a modern version of Civil 3D, 2018 or 2019? Both versions allow you to create an offset alignment and profile in one operation and have the new profile superimposed on your existing profile view. The offset profile's elevations are set by specifying the cross slope from the main profile.

Just to add to Tim's post, this must be done in the Create Offset Alignment dialog when you create the offset alignments. I do not believe it can be done after the offset alignments are created.

I would leave the profile where it is and in my assembly I would use a generic link, called link vertical, set it to 10’ then set the parameter to omit link then attach my other subassemblies to that.  This should get you the same result
