Raster image not visible

I attached image and rotated and scaled.  The next time I open it shows up at start up and disappears?

It says it is loaded and the path is fine, all layers turned on.

When I save, the image shows up for a second and the image doesn't plot.

Thanks for any help.

You say attached so I assume you mean using the ATTACH command to bring the image in and not Data Connect or mapiinsert command. Use quick select to select the image then look at the properties and make sure Show image = Yes.

Second use the draw order to bring it to the front, you may have an object blocking the view of it.

Third knowing what version of C3D you are using and the spec(Video, ram, etc) may help.

I'm using Civil3d2011 on a Dell Precision T3400 3ghz with 4 gb of ram

Video card is NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290

I typed "image" and choosed "Attach Image"

I used the quick select and picked raster image, everything was on.

It works and then when i open the drawing again, it's not visible

Thanks Again.

AUDIT?

Or close the drawing and then run DRAWINGRECOVERY?

What is your IMAGEFRAME variable?

thanks, i figured it out.

I had to open the mapwspace and add draing data and then choose raster image.

the images were already loaded but i had to click on them to turn it on(?)

Didn't have to do that in the earlier versions.

I had a similar problem.  Finally I noticed that a co-worker had unloaded the image so I had to reload it in the xref manager.
