Line Command Lag

I'm having an issue where when I enter the LINE command my C3D instance begins to lag and make it difficult to pick where I need it to start. But when I choose a start point the lag goes away, I've run audits and repairs on the drawing and have restarted my machine many times. Please see Screencast for example.

You might try changing the input line options for AutoComplete, AutoCorrect and Search Content. I turn all this off because it usually slows down to the point where if I enter "co" for COPY (for example) my keystrokes are faster than the input and I get "c" for CIRCLE.

I'm not sure that this answers your question. It sounds like you're experiencing an apparent pause after keyboard input? I notice this on certain commands - like adding pressure parts to profile - it hangs after asking you to select a profile view and you have to click once in empty space to get it back. There are some others (can't recall the specific C3D commands at the moment) that expect a selection or a point on an AECC object but everything *appears* frozen - I use osnaps as if nothing was wrong and it seems to work. As far as I know these oddities are flaws in the programming and can't/won't be fixed.

you might also look hard at performance issues - which I have always experienced. there are other articles than this one, and posts, and suggestions (like get rid of TTF fonts if your dwg is loaded with text), etc. you can improve things but performance has *always* been an issue.
