"Do you really want to do this? <N>" message when working with hatches

When hatching and working with lines that are close to hatches, I get the message above and Civil 3D stops working. I attached 2 pictures below. Thank you.

if your boundary lines don't touch exactly, you sometimes get that message. Fix your boundary lines so if you need to create the boundaries to adjust the hatch it will be easier for future use.

Consider testing increasing the Hatch Gap Tolerance system variable HPGAPTOL. Or go to it from the ribbon as noted in this blog post link
