Publish in Background doesn't Plot Correctly

One user (no one else in the office) is having problems printing through publish or sheet set manager. C3D is using the wrong pen styles. After digging into this, the issue is "publish in background". When we print not in background, it uses the correct pen style. What file path am I missing???? It works fine for everyone else...

Does this person also have plain Autocad installed?  If so the publish command will use the settings from the autocad so you need to open it and go to Options and on the Files tab go to Printer Support File Path and set the Plot Style Table Search Path there and close and restart the program.

Is there any way to have AutoCAD installed and for Sheet Set manager to plot using the Civil 3D configuration? I typically don't install the object enabler because it lets me use AutoCAD to create small drawings that are free of Civil 3D default styles. So this creates an issue where the publish command from the Sheet Set Manager can't plot AEC entities.

I should add that it will plot them as proxy graphics if the relevant options are turned on when saving the drawing in Civil 3D and in AutoCAD for plotting. PROXYGRAPHICS=1 and PROXYSHOW=1.
