I cannot get line work to process.  An example of the information is as follows:

Linkework Code Set uses

Begin line = .

End line = ..

Figure Prefix:

JUG setup with a survey figure style

DescKey set as

JUG*  has a point style, label and layer assigned, Format $*

Import Point File settings

PNEZD comma

Uses the figure prefix DB

Process linework during import =  YES

Uses linework code set

Process linework By import order

Insert figure and points = Yes

Point CSV file

JUG1.

JUG2..

I assume JUG1. Would begin the line and JUG1.. would end it.  JUG2. Would begin and JUG2.. would end the line.

I believe you would need a space between the JUG1 and the dec point.

In your Linework Code Set there is a "Feature/Code delimiter".  Is that set to <space>?

I would suggest that you use something else for end line delineator, like a colon or semicolon.  You are asking the software to recognize two periods and it will be confused with the start line delineator.

Thanks, missed that.  Doing work for a client with their requirements.  I don't process surveys that much.  appreciate the input.

As @jroot suggested you will need a space after the JUG1 or JUG2 before you enter the code, that's just how that works, however as @Anonymous suggest that you use something other than a decimal symbol I to would suggest the same thing for a 2 reasons, one is that B and E are basically industry standard and used default in both Carlson (they started it I believe) and C3D (I know nothing about uStation), so you more likely to find seasoned field personnel using those codes, secondly if you have the figure code setup (i.e. JUG*) then you don't really need the B or E at all if the survey database is set up for automated linework, unless you need to physically Begin or End a line in the process to restart or end it. (i.e. if you have another JUG1 B this would end the first JUG1 and start a new figure). I personally change the default code set myself but only for the Begin Curve BC (PC) and End Curve EC (PT), but I have figure codes BC and EC that conflict with those codes that represent Back of Curb and Edge of Concrete and if the codes BC BC or EC EC were in the file it would do nothing (not draw the curve). I have no single character figure codes or description keys as this is not recommended.

I have been using an old version of C3D (2017) with Eagle Point Data Reduction module to process my linework.

I have a new computer and can't get EP back on.. They are defunct.

The problem is my PNEZD needs one (or two) more column(s) to handle the line codes. ie EOA B with B being the Begin line code for that Edge of Asphalt shot. What happens is since there is no column they just truncate the line so that the B doesn't come in.

I have looked at the setting and to add a column but there is no "code" option in 2021, which is my last version upgrade and the user defined option didn't work when I added a column named "linecode".

I wonder if I could drag in a setting from a later release where that code column is supported.

Any help would be appreciated.
