problem with WMTS and WGS84

Hi

I've tried to add an open WMTS Server, but I allways not match:

For reference: I'm using Portable Basemap server v3.1

How can I solve this problem?

Hi Amin,
I've never used Portable Basemap Server, so I have no idea how that works.
Your 27M shift looks like it's shifting to SouthEast which screams Datum Shift. Verify the Coordinate System your published Data is in.

Thanks for your reply
But the map is not shifted, and the map coordinate are correct.
WMTS is also corrent because it is displayed correctly with ArcMAP.
Do you know suitable WMTS for Iran?

OK, I'm confused then. More details please on the problem.

I don't use Basemap Server 3.1 either but I can tell you, by default Google Maps is referenced to LL84 (EPS G4326), not WGS.Pseudo Mercator (EPSG 3857).

In your ArcMap program, what is ArcMap 'reading' as the native coordinate system of your WMTS connection? Can you verify  ArcMap is reading WGS.Pseudo Mercator, EPSG 3857? Upload a screenshot displaying WGS.Pseudo.

Start from a brand new, clean metric template then:

  • Assign the coordinate system UTM84-40N (EPSG 32640).
  • Connect to your WMTS (Edit the coordinate system of WMTS connection to WGS.PseudoMercator).
  • Use zoom and pan commands to focus on your area.
  • Cut and paste from your first drawing to this new one.

Amin,
Thanks for posting your video. Nice music! Using your link, I got "failed to connect" in both Civil 3D and QGIS. Is Portable Basemap Server a paid subscription service?
How did you get from zoomed in at 728527.514,4024348.683 to seeing the whole earth at 1:48?
