Problem with the scale of the cross sections in the layout

Scale issue.PNG

Hi,

I have a problem with the scale of the cross section in Civil 3D. I am using the 1 :1000 but it is not showing properly on the layout. Although, it seems fine in the model.

Could you please help me with that?

Thank you.

I have always thought that cross sections should be in a dwg file by themselves.  Do you have model space and your layout set to the same scale?

Since I never use Metric, I have a little trouble getting into it. I would think that 1:1000 is too large of a scale.

What's not showing at the correct scale?

Thank you very much for the answer.  Maybe I need to elaborate more. On the model, the numbers look fine on the y axis. While on the layout it is distorted. How can I fix that? I thought it may be related to scale. Maybe it is not.
