Problem pasting datum surface

Hi All,

I'm having some issues pasting the datum surface of a roadway corridor model onto an existing ground surface model. When I attempt to paste the surface, (which displays just fine in the object viewer) I get an error telling me that my datum surface is corrupt. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem??

I had a problem with this once, I can't remember cause or cure of the top of my head. Can you post the drawing?

Assuming you have closed and restarted all drawings and C3D and then reopened and tried again:

Are you pasting both surfaces into a third? You can't paste a corridor surface into a surface the corridor references.

Verify that neither surface has a transform (been moved) listed in the surface properties.

Try making data shortcuts and inserting them into a separate drawing. IF that works try the paste there.
