I have a dwg of municipal sewer system, streets etc and need to create polygons for catchment areas and attach data to the polygons (catchment structure ID, area, name) so that I can export to shapefile so another user with Bentley ModelBuilder can import the shapes & data. I'm looking for the proper steps/workflow to do so, I've been trying to use the tools in Map3D (2014) without much luck, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
