Point Label showing multiple elevations

I wondered whether it's possible to create a cogo point label that shows multiple elevations, one for the point itself and one for the ground level at that point. Including depth from ground level at the point location would also be useful. I note that the label options only include the point elevation and not a reference surface or profile. Are there any formulas that can be used with point labels to get that information if it's not in the default options?

As you see the point label doesn't have any reference text options available.   However, general note labels and surface labels do.  You could make a general note label or surface spot label that has a reference text to a point's elevation.  That would get you half way there though.  You'd have the point elevation and the surface elevation but not the vertical distance between them.  There are no options for using expressions with info from reference text objects.  To get around that you would need to make a surface from the points and then a volume surface using that point surface and your original surface.   Now you'll have three surfaces in which to pull elevation data from for the label,  the point surface for the point elevation (or a ref text to the point itself), a surface reference for your original surface, and then a surface reference to the volume surface for displaying the difference between the two.

Just filled out some mleaders by hand to get me over the current requirement as there were not too many. So this question was really for future reference. Maybe a surface label is the way to go in future.

I was hoping that there was a quick fix or formula for the point label styles when I could then just select the reference surface rather than have to place a new surface label at each cogo point location. Lady luck is not on my side today it seems.......

@Jeff_M I used SincPac with a previous employer and it is definitely a useful package. The reporting was especially useful, and the ability to export and import surface analysis settings to/from a template was a time saver.
