Point file << No point file format found error.>>

Hi Guys!  I am having an issue importing a point file to my civil3d 21018.  They were created manually to an Xl sheet.  I keep getting an No point file format found error. do I need to edit my xl sheet or something?  Thanks!

Please post your Excel file. Is it PNEZD or PENZD? In what format is the Point File when you attempt to Import into C3D? CSV, TXT?

Dear Friend,

As Dave has pointed out it is better to upload your excel file. Also please make sure the following.

You should save the excel file in csv format with comma delimited csv. 

Also when you insert the point file make sure the excel file is not opened. It should be closed.

yes, thanks guys.  It was the comma delimited I was having the issue with.  I brought it in as an XL, and then exported as a .txt file 🙂
