didn't there used to be a way to show pipe interference in the profile view? i thought that was what the interference check did but it doesn't seem to do that now.

I recall being able to show interference results in plan and 3D views, but not in profile views. Were you thinking about showing crossing pipes in profile view instead?

The interference tool only shows graphics in model. It's a shame that bottomed and top of pipe can't be got from it for labeling

i'm doing a road and drainage project and i have some conflicts with existing utilities and proposed storm pipes. i thought that the interference check would indicate in the profile where the conflict was between the two pipes. i already know where it is in the plan view.

Do your check - > it will tell your where and how many in commandline and mark the points in your network.

What you want to do is:

Mark your networks-> object viewer, and then there will be kind of round balls around the points where you have interference!

Funny thing is that most common reason to delays on a site is because interference checks aren´t done propperly, and costly re-planning must be issued.

thank you
