MDX export - "input string was not in the correct format"

I've drawn up a drainage network in Civil 3d and used the Autodesk Microdrainage Utility to export it to an MDX file. 

But when I try to import this into Microdrainage, I get the error

"An unnexpected error has occurred in midNetwork:openFile. The reported problem is "input string was not in the correct format"

Anyone any idea how to fix this?

Fixed it myself by editing the MDX.
