section plan markers

HI All,

On my Autocad LT I have blocks from the tool pallets for sections markers on structure sections (Please see the image attached)

When I am on my Civil 3D PC I do not have these on Tool Pallets are they on Civil 3D, if so where are they hiding? If not how do I get them on there please?

You can lookup options\files tab for the location of your tool palette files. Look up where the palette files are stored in the LT machine. Copy those files to some folder in the C3D machine and add a path in the options\files that points to it.

Usually you also have to copy over the tool palette tab structure because it's not fun doing it manually. On the LT machine, (right click on tool palette title bar -> customize...), right click on the tool palette group on the right side that has your custom stuff and export it (as an XPG file) so that you can import the same setup on the C3D machine. To import just scroll to the bottom on the right side and right click a blank spot. You should see an import option.

I might have been overthinking things earlier. 

Might just be a matter of right clicking on the tool palette tabs at the bottom (where they're all collapsed) and selecting the right tab (annotation).

My LT machine is locked down by IT so I can not access the C drive.

Home tab=>Palettes Panel=>Tool Palettes Icon

Go to Annotation Tab (or right-click Tool Palette 'backbone' and select Annotation and Design).

Annotation Tab=>Section Callout-Imperial (or metric)
