Lock corridor (and other elements)

Hi there, noob question here

Is there a way to lock a corridor (or other elements in C3D) to prevent unintentionally deleting?

Is it only me...or does it happen to others as well? I have something in C3D (or Autocad) selected and I forget to deselect it. Zoom to another place, select a other element and delete it. Than after one hour work i notice that for example my corridor is missing...and can start all over again.

It happen to me all the time...

I think the simplest way would be to use the lock layer feature.  Invoke this command and anything you click on will have it's layer locked.

Beyond that, you might just need to learn to be less trigger happy with the delete command.  It can be tricky keeping track of what is selected and what isn't.  I tend to make my delete commands very deliberate nowadays
