Line & Curve label style "crow's feet"

There are "crow's feet" options under "Span" in Parcel line & curve label styles. I need this option in regular line & curve label styles. I'm using C3D 2017. Is there a way to get "crow's feet" in the label style and/or is the option already there?

Spanning labels are part of Parcel labels only. If you need this you will need to use parcels. Otherwise your only option is to create a style with crows feet and label using the label line by points.

wescorr....see attached for an example.  Drawing was done in C3D 2016.

You need a style with crow's feet. Blocks are blocks. Explore the styles. There your friend

Please explain. The only styles I see with crows feet are Parcel styles.
