volume calculation of bounded object

Hello!

How can I calculate the volume of a bounded object with base elevation. Attached my drawing with 2 surface and the polygon.

Im using civil 3d 2012. kindly please give me the steps and procedures.

Analysis>>volume dasboard>> volume surf (eg vs fg), draw a boundary; >>bounded volume>> select poly line.

what exactly you mean by base elevation im not sure but the BV will assume vertical comparison at the boundary line

Mr. Joe,

Thanks for you help, appreciated it much. By the way volume dash board is not present in C3D 2012 but I saw it on 2013 so i calculated it there. Where can i find or produce a calculation report, if there's any.
