I have created my own label style to label a fixed point along an alignment. I created the label to be under the layer "X-6-ALIGNMENT STATION & OFFSET LABELS". But for some reason when I create the label, the label is on layer "X-6-ALIGNMENT LABELS". That is another layer I created. Where can I find the place to change the layer of this label to be what I want. Because my Stationing labels are under that "X-6-ALIGNMENT LABELS" layer also, so when I click to turn the fixed point label it is also turning off stationing labels. Please see attached photos.
a) is the label of a fixed point.
b) is the "Edit Label Style"
c) is the "Label Properties"

So if I change that to the layer I want for a specific fixed point, won't it also change the layer for stationing?
Yes, it changes the layer the objects are placed on when they are created. You can change it as needed for which ever label type you will be creating.
