layout profile does not have grip edits

Created multiple layout profiles in one profile view.  I pick the profile and there aren't any visible vertices or grip edits.  I don't have the choice of making it static or dynamic.  I looked everywhere.

it is.  Who woulda thunk that would be a thing even.  Guess i've never locked the alignment layer in the past.

in my case it was simply the layer the alignment on was locked.  Hope it helps.
