Is there a Way to add surface to multiple alignments at once (to save time)

Looking to save time while creating profile views

there has to be a way to

1. Label multple alignments at once.

2. add surfaces to multiple alignments at once etc.

1) Not as far as I know.  You can however add multiple alignment labels saved as a Label Set to an alignment.  A set of labels can be applied to an alignment during its creation by default.

2) Again, not as far as I know.  I did notice that when you select an alignment the ribbon will show a Surface Profile button that will take you right to the screen for choosing the surface.

As Mark said, you cannot create surface profiles for more than one alignment at a time. The Profile from Surface dialogue allows you to select multiple alignments for sampling, but when you accept and return to the drawing, the profiles do not get created for the added alignments.

This is one of those quirks you learn from experience. You won't learn it from a canned training course or tutorials.

There are LOTS of quirks to learn.

There are 3rd party tools for these things. The app store may have some free ones. Below are links to two I know of.

You can solve this with any script such as Dynamo. All of those options require a learning curve. Do you have an Out Of The Box solution?

So is the script tool and LISP if you want to look at anything that is available with the software. All of those options provide a solution though.
