Insertion point not changing in civil3d

I have created a sub assembly in sub-assembly composer. I cannot attach the .pkt file here. Please help me attach for better solution i have assigned an insertion point parameter to it. but when i use that sub-assembly in civil 3d, i cannot change the insertion point. 

 

I am new to sub assembly creation

The insertion point is always the origin. Make a sketch to tell us your final intent and the purpose of the custom subassembly. And if you want to upload your PKT file, just ZIP it and upload it.

Your Subassembly has been composed with the Side setting "Right", but apparently it should be used on the left side.
If the Side parameter is changed to "Left" in SAC, all the positive X point values are drawn to the left (for Point Geometry Type > Delta X and Delta Y) and angle values are used clockwise (for Angle and Distance).

 

I recommend constructing the Subassembly with the setting "Right" also for the right side and precalculate all points with Delta X and Delta Y instead of Angle and Distance.
