Hi,
I created correct SHP files for you from your original XLS file. There are two groups, one for the manholes and the second one for pipes. Totally you have 4+4=8 files.
If you would like to use the data on GIS level, just drag and drop two SHPs to Civil3D. You will basically then used AutoCAD Map functionality. You will have all the data but it will be just generic line-node topology, with all the data inside of AutoCAD MAP. Your network will be FDO based.
Another way is to use again MAP functionality (which we called "the old one") through MapImport command. Then you can have usual AutoCAD entities (unlike FDO), with object data inside (don't forget to tell that you would like to import additional data as object data).
Don't be confused with Map and Civil 3D, inside of every C3D is MAP.
The third way is to import SHPs in Civil 3d, as intelligent pipe objects, which for example will have 3D presentation, real pipes as 3D elements, and so on. Unlike two previous workflows, pipe elevation will be real pipe elevation, not just attribute data. The function is IMPORTGISDATA. You have to pass through wizzard workflow and you have to match correctly pipes and manholes/structures. Here is one problem with automatic matching in Civil 3D. You have to check what your dimensions of the pipes and manholes really represent (inner dia, outside dia, ....). And you have to have in C3d part list adequate elements (pipes and structures) which fit exactly to your data. Not sure, but the best way is to have just one part list with one pipe group and one manhole group, which will have the same values as you have in SHP files. With that you will force Civil 3d to take just those values. Which values you have to have in part list, you can find in your original XLS file.
