Where to begin.

Have you ever made a Long Section before?

If yes just make them 1 KM apart.

Do you mean cross sections rather than longitudinal?

Create an alignment along the length of your project - doesn't have to be anything special -  and then draw polylines where you want the sections and then use the cross section tools using these exisitng polylines for position of the sections

Hi @shashirekha2015 if you already have an alignment and surfaces or corridors you can select SAMPLE LINES from the ribbon and then select your alignment. Then from the sample lines toolbar click the down arrow as shown in pic and select by range of stations. Then in the next dialog you can set your increments (see pic). After it creates the sample lines go to the ribbon and choose the SECTION VIEWS > Create Multiple Section Views. Follow the dialog boxes and then pick where to insert the section views. You will need to have styles set up or use the default styles.
