Fire Hydrant with "S" Type Elbow

Good Day Folks,

I am trying to draw this S type elbow in Potable Water Pressure Network Plan, From Main line There is Tee then Pipe then Valve and then Fire Hydrant, Its easy but I am stuck to add these 2 Elbows at Plan, Any Quick and Easiest way to add those elbows to make my life easy. Your early response will highly Appreciated.

Thank You

Jawed

Hi Jawed,

I tried to do it from Plan, with no success. My method is not perfect, but it works fine for most cases:

  • put pipe (short one) and Hydrant at plan, still no elbows; isolate them
  • go to any isometric 3d view
  • starting from the hydrant end, add all the needed connecting parts using pipe snapping

Hope it will help,

Hi Olga,

Hope you are doing good, Thanks for your feedback. I found a tricky way to create this type of 90 degree bend and got success. I used a 3dline and add vertex of different elevation and run the pressure network and I got my S elbow. I am going to share my 3d line for  your understanding.

Thanks
