Exporting from Civil 3D to Navisworks

I am currently using Civil 3D 2019 and Navisworks simulate 2019. I am trying to export solids to NWC format but for some reason C3D is exporting numbers with a comma between rather than a period. e.g. 16,850582 instead of 16.850582.

The problem is with some checking software that we have to use. It is ignoring the comma so it sees the number as 16850582. 

This is causing issues as the chainages etc are out of the expected range for the project. It is essentially seeing the chainage as 16,850,582 (m).

The setup here in the UK is to use a period as the decimal separator and a comma as a number grouping.

The file was originally produced on a pc in Poland with the Polish country kit. Could this be the reason?

Someone has painstakingly gone through and replaced all the decimal separator commas with periods but it still exports with commas as decimal separators.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to sort it out without having to redo all the solid conversions?

Hi @steveblurton8276, I hope you're doing fine. Try adjusting the region parameters of your windows before opening C3D. Then, open your file and rerun the NWCOUT command to see if this helped.

Thanks for taking the time to reply Camilo.

I've just found out that we are using some sort of checking software (MDM) that has 2 processes that need to be done before NWCout. The second of these processes transfers the formatting information to the file. This resolves the commas issue.
