dwg to pdf

I print a drawing in 11X17 directly to my printer at the scale 1:1 and it work.

Then i printed to pdf with ''DWG To PDF.pc3'' and ''PDF Creator'' at the same scale, i printed the PDF with

the same printer and the drawing is reduced to 97%.

Is there a way to fix that.

Thanks

Check if anywhere in the process you have Scale to Fit checked. The margins in a PDF don't always equal the margins a printer can handle.

Hi @fredericgougeon,

it sounds as the PDF printer drivers you used have different internal settings, such as page margins.
Let me repeat the issue to make sure I have understood correctly:

  • Direct plot from Civil 3D to paper works fine (1:1)
  • Then you create two PDF plots, one with "DWG to PDF.pc3" one with "PDF Creator"
  • You open both PDF in the same program (i.e. Acrobat Reader) and plot to paper
  • Result: One PDF Plot (or both?) are reduced to 97%

Is that correct?

Regards,

Karsten.
