DVIEW Twist

I have a drawing that has been "Twisted" using the DVIEW Twist command. My question is, is there a way to untwist the objects back to their original orientation if I do not know the angle they have been twisted? Is there a way to see the amount of twist so I can undo it?

Thanks

DVIEWTWIST will give you the value.  Use the PLAN command to change it back to normal.

Run the UCS command, Set it to World. (You may not need this step, but go ahead and do it anyway). Then run the PLAN command and either choose World or Current.

Make sure your UCS icon is on. Depending on your settings, there should be some indicator that you are in World (usually a "W" in the corner). Then as long as your plan view = World, you should be where you want to be.

So using this command does fix the drawing (the north is fixed), but the lines you create orthagonal doesn't work properly

Hello,

Ortho  does work, the lines just match your courser angle.

you can reset the cross hairs with the Snap command

good luck,

I believe you mean SNAPANG.
