Discontinued line within section view

Hello everyone,

After much reading on these forums the time has come to ask a question of my own. Perhaps the answer is already here but I haven't been able to find it.

I have created a surface from some points and breaklines, symbolizing bedrock. I have section views displaying existing ground and proposed ground surfaces and now I want to add the bedrock surface as well.

Strangely enough the line for the bedrock surface is discontinous in the section views. To troubleshoot i created another section view set with only the bedrock surface but the same thing happens. Does anyone have a clue about what might cause this?

Please see attached images

Seriously grateful for any help,

cheers

Did you check your rock surface.  It appears that you may have holes in the surface.

Thanks for the idea but I've checked that and unfortunately it wasn't that easy.

It might be hard to see in the previously attached images but the section is there. I think attached image sct3 shows it better, I have changed the horizontal grid for enhanced visualization of the curve. It is just the line that gaps for some reason..

I would now suspect that it is a function of your linetype.  For openers, just change the scale of your drawing and see if that makes a difference.

That solved it! Thanks a bunch. I feel a bit stupid now but I've had a grindy session of C3D work here and I couldn't really figure this out.

Bless you and all other helpers out there.

Friendly regards from Sweden!
