Default settings for parcels

Hey Folks,

Got another question for you, one that should be fairly simple, but I've yet to find any help menu that address it. Isn't that always the case? LOL

Anyway, here it is: I've been learning about parcels, and I can't figure out how to change the default settings in the "Create Parcel - From Object" command! Specifically, I want to be able to change the "Parcel Layer" and "Parcel Segment Layer" layers, but I can't find anywhere in CAD where I can do that! Anyone know this?

Hi @andrew.robinson4HZXU,  On the toolspace palette go to the settings tab and right click on the drawing name and select Edit Drawing Settings.  Then in the next dialog box select the Object Layers tab and scroll down to the parcel objects and change the layers there.  You can also set layers in the parcel styles.

I knew it was something incredibly simple, but it's like so much in CAD, the designers of the software expect you to intuitively know certain things, and for dummies like me (lol), those obvious things ain't so obvious!
