I am working on the grading plan using Civil 3D (2019) and I need the tools to do the work. Could you help me to load the "Civil 3D toolbar-feature-line please?

Sorry, I have already type "Menuload" it pops up Loaded Customization Groups but does not have the Civil 3D toolbar-feature-line to select.

Thanks

Hien

Do you have the ribbons shown? The feature line tools are on the Home ribbon as shown in the image below.

Ms. Mercier,

Yes, I do have the Ribbons shown.

The Civil 3D toolbar-feature-line looks like the attached image below and it contains these icons:

. Elevation Editor...

. Quick elevation edit

. Edit elevation

. Set Grade/Slope Between Points

. Set elevation by Reference

. Insert High/Low elevation point

. Elevation from Surface

. [Insert P]

. [Delete P]

. Break

. Trim

. Join

. Reverse

. Fillet

. Fit Curve

. Smooth

. Weed

. Stepped Offset

That looks more like an image of a menu and not a toolbar (haven't used toolbars in Civil 3D in ages so I could be wrong). If you want, you can turn on the menu and then you'll have access to the tools there. Set the system variable MENUBAR to 1 and then click on the grading menu and there's two options there, "Edit Feature Line Elevations" and "Edit Feature Line Geometry".

Like I said, you can turn it on, but why? If you want access to those tools, simply go to the Modify tab on your ribbon. Much faster in my opinion.
