Default corridor slope lines

Hello,

I am trying to figure out a way to create slope lines style with default settings.

So far it is the first place I occured an obstacle where it seems I can not point directly to a layer of my preference.

By default slope style uses layer of a corridor it is in.

Is there a way to use my own layer not connected to corridor?

Hi @jan.krawczeniuk, that is the only way Civil 3D allows us to create slope patterns. However, there is another way to create these slope patterns and assign a different layer, and it is with Dynamo.

If you feel curious, open Dynamo for Civil 3D on your computer, and you'll notice there is a sample graph provided by Autodesk in which we can see how this task is done (see following image):

Open it, and you'll notice that this graph allows you to manipulate the layer where you want your slope patterns.

I hope this helps. Best regards!

@jan.krawczeniuk   sound good if you following way as @ecfernandez  mention.

anyway, in your corridor, you can press  "Ctrl" button on keyboard and then select your slope pattern that you add in your corridor, then in the properties you can change the slope pattern to any layer what you want. like this.
