Creating subsurface points from a surface point

Working from these instructions:

Change Point Elevation from the Surface to that of the SubSurface (Bore Hole Depth):  Use the MOVE Command on the MODIFY Ribbon.  ON MOVE - look at command line AFTER you SELECT the point - It will ask for a Base or Displacement - choose DISPLACEMENT (X,Y, & Z).  Enter 0,0,and a negative number for the depth of the Bore Hole (eg: 0,0,-33).  Do this for every point.  This Builds Your SubSurface.

PROBLEM:  There are 29 surface points to lower to the subsurface elevation - which will form the basis for creating a SubSurface.  After entering the First Point (0,0,-66) the Command Line reads: 'Specify second point or <use first point as displacement>:'

A dashed line with a diamond forms from my (0,0) reference point - if I continue - seemingly to move the surface point to another location on the same purpose.  There is no method for Selecting 'Specify second point' and the command appears to be staying with '<use first point as displacement>':

Uncertain how to play this one...  If anyone follows the problem - please let me know your thoughts.  Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous    Start the Move command and after you select the point and hit enter you need to type D and press enter before entering 0,0,-66

That worked.!  When I originally came to the Command Line - 'Displacement' appeared to me as already selected!  I was confused by the Selection set.  Thanks so much.     Commonly it's a little thing like that [Type 'D'} - a pebble in our path - that makes all the difference.  Otherwise I'm stuck in the Midvale School Pushing on the Pull door.  Thanks so much for the assist!  Kind regards.
