Creating multiple surfaces from individual 3D faces

Hi,

I am trying to create multiple Civil 3D Surfaces from 3D faces. Each 3D face should be converted into an indivual Tin Surface (as shown bellow in the Picture). There are a lot of 3D faces in the modell that needs to be converted into the civil Surface.

One way that I know to create a single surface from single multiple  3D faces is from Prospector -> Surface -> defination -> drawing objects. But this method is really time consuming to create C3D Surfaces from each individual 3D Face object.

Is there any other way to speed up the process of converting 3D faces into C3D Surfaces.

Any other suggestion please ?

Your help is highly appreciated! 😊

Best regards,

Shafiq

No, you could try to create one whole one, copy and rename the surface and then apply a surface boundary and on to the next one.

This can be done with a macro very easily. Perhaps you can use Dynamo for this task as well (not tested yet). Best chance to get help is to ask in the civil customization forum.
