I have an intersection that has two vertical profiles that I turned into a corridor. Problem is when I adjust any vertical profile, civil3d automatically adds regions to my baselines and messes with my start and end stationing.
I did use the intersection tool that creates curb returns and alignments automatically with civil3ds assemblies.
I don't fully understand how Civil 3D is making new regions when you adjust the profile. We might be able to help you more if you are able to share the drawing. Or someone more familiar with the wizard could probably help you more.
I personally stopped using the Intersection Wizard several years ago, I think it creates more problems than it solves. I add crossing profiles onto my longsection instead now. Having dynamically linked profiles is an overrated feature in my opinion. If you are going to adjust the vertical design of your road network, you will probably want to review your profiles anyway rather than Civil 3D make the changes for you.

I think the intersection tool is very helpful with vertical profiles. This is my first time using the automatic curb return alignments/profiles and it would be great besides the fact it keep adding regions even if i deleted the assemblies provided.
I agree with @m_kingdon. Me too several years ago stopped using the intersection tool.
