Coordinates are multiplied by a factor of 1000

Hello everyone,

I have a DWG with coordinates that are looking like this: Y: xxx-xxxxxxxx.0m X: 272002378.0m  After scaling the drawing, I was able to DIM or DI, and I got a normal distance, without being in mm.  But when I export a point, still getting Y: xxx-xxxxxxxx.0m X: 272002378.0m.

Try this: 

Settings tab of Toolspace. Right click the drawing name, Edit Drawing Settings.

Units and Zone tab, far left, near the top. If it says Millimeters, change to Meters.

Did that and still no results. I scaled the drawing and did a rotation with reference to the right coordinate.  That's a bit of a pain.

I'd like to ask one more question, please.  I am creating Profile From File, but it comes out that it's a Surface Profile.  The problem is that I have no surface and I want to export this profile and I can't.  Is there a way that I can Create Profile From File to be recognized as a Profile Line?

A profile from file comes in as type File, not Surface or Layout. You might be confusing the style with the type.

You can export using LandXMLOut command.

The reason that I am asking this question, is that I am using Trimble Link in Civil 3D and the profile is not recognized.  The one that I want is the pictuer called Profile, not Surface Profile.

What are you seeing that makes you think the profile is a surface profile?

Yes.  I can't export an Alignment with Profile from Trimble Link.  But, I found a way.  I explode the Surface Profile Line and I use the Convert Auto CAD Line and Spline,and it comes to a Profile Line.

What I would like is to import a .txt file to Profile but not as a Surface Profile.  Is there a way?

do the coordinates reflect the distance between, eg, 100,500 150,500 50m apart, if when you scaled you set the origin to some where in the drawing like where you were, every thing would have scaled but stayed in the same position where you picked, try setting the origin to 0,0, the the coordinate values would be scaled
