Clipped rasters plot with "seam" where they meet?

I have multiple rasters of aerial images taken from ArcGIS imagery.  In order to get the image I want I need 12 images to fill the sheet.  I have clipped the images, turned IMAGEFRAME to off and I still get a line where the clips meet when I plot.  Any suggestions?

The reason I have clipped the images is that I have transparency on and when the images overlap, the transparent overlap areas show darker.  Maybe the solution lies here?

Have you tried setting FRAME = 0 or 2?

Worth a try, from the Sys. variable list:

The FRAME system variable overrides the DGNFRAME setting. Use the DGNFRAME system variable after the FRAME system variable to reset the DGN frame settings.

Value    Description
0        The DGN underlay frame is not displayed or plotted.
        The frame temporarily reappears during selection preview or object selection.
1        The DGN underlay frame is displayed and plotted.
2        The DGN underlay frame is displayed but not plotted.

FRAME does the same as IMAGEFRAME.  I tried 0 and 2 but that did not fix the problem.

....Not exactly as Frame overrides several other *FRAME* Setting Variables.

Can you please provide more specific information as to how the maps were attached and their file types?

I exported TIF (LZW, Tiled) raster images with world files from the ArcGIS imagery. I then inserted the images through Raster Insertion Wizard.  I clipped the images with the Create Clipping Boundary tool.
