Civil3d Corridor Daylight Transition

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi Everyone,

Can someone give me a bit of guidance on how to make transition on this spillway channel model that I’m trying to create.

Here is a corridor that I created having a channel width of 20m and daylight batters of 1V:1.5H to existing ground.

I used a very basic assembly for this corridor from the sub-assemblies found in the Generic Civil Metric preloaded in Civil3d:

  • LinkOffsetAndSlope (10m Right, 10m Left)
  • DaylightMultiIntercept (Cut 1:1.5, Fill 1:1.5)

Now, I’m required to revise the model to have 1V:6H batters ONLY on the part where there is an existing road (Roughly from Chainage 70 to 100)

Any input will be very much appreciated. Thanks. 😃

Hi @Anonymous ,

If you are doing this via corridor, you can get the subassembly you need to do the transition in ANZ Country kit.

See attached image as a guide.

3 Options available - In ANZ Country Kit3 Options available - In ANZ Country Kit

See this <AU Class> - by my friend Andrew as he explained it very well in 23:27 onwards. (Exercise 2)

Cheers,

Jowenn
