Civil 3d crashes when attempting to sample more sources

Hi there,

So I'm having some trouble with C3D's sectioning tools. Whenever I attempt to use the "sample more sources" tool the program crashes (file attached). 

Has anyone encountered this before or have any suggestions? Would be much appreciated.

Hi,

With 2018 it works without any problem.

As quick remedy try to to basics such as AUDIT, RECOVER, etc.

I tried it 3 times last night in C3D 2018, first thing I did was Recover and Save. It put C3D into a non-responsive state that I had to kill off with task manager after 30+ minutes each time.

This issue was resolved by updating my software with the latest patches as well as by running the   -purge command to clear unused regapps.
