he Alignment_Curve report is designed to be generated as an HTML document, so seeing it saved as a Microsoft Edge HTML Document is normal. If the report does not display in the expected format, it may be caused by one of the following:

The report template may be missing or corrupted.

The Civil 3D report files were not installed correctly.

Your default web browser may not be rendering the report properly.

To resolve the issue, try the following:

Generate the report again and open the HTML file in a different web browser (such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox).

Verify that the Civil 3D report templates are present in the installation folder.

If the problem persists, run a Repair on your Civil 3D 2024 installation to restore any missing or corrupted report components.

If the issue continues after these steps, please share a screenshot of the generated report so we can help identify the exact cause.

I dont have a lot of experience with the alignment reports, I've never had to use one professionally, so ultimately I might not be of much help.  Are you getting a specific error when you try to open the document in Edge or Chrome?  Are you able to share a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Is this an AI copy/paste? The post title is about C3D 2027, not 2024.
